The original Teva sport sandal was created on the banks of the Grand Canyon in 1984. One day, while trying to keep his sandals from being dragged down the river, an ingenious guide attached two Velcro watchbands to a pair of old flip-flops. Teva was born. In the years since, Teva has maintained a pioneering spirit and continues to celebrate the freedom of adventure.
