RULES OF PARTICIPATION

1 The " Clarks " contest is held by Chaussures Bo-Pied inc. (hereinafter referred to as the "contest organizers"). It takes place in Quebec. It begins on September 25, 2023 and ends on October 1, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. (hereinafter referred to as the "Contest Period").

ELIGIBILITY

  1. This contest is open to all residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority. Employees, agents and representatives of Chaussures Bo-Pied inc. their subsidiaries, related and affiliated companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, partners, participating merchants, suppliers of prizes, materials and services related to this contest or any other party directly involved in the holding of this contest, their families, their legal or common-law spouses and all persons with whom these employees, representatives and agents are domiciled, are excluded.

Here's how it works:

Entrants must respect the entry limit mentioned below, failing which the contest organizers reserve the right to cancel one or more of their entries.

  • There is a limit of one entry per person.

PRICE

Win 2 pairs of Clarks: one for you + one for your friend (Fall Winter 2023 collection).

The following conditions apply:

  1. a) The prize is non-cashable, non-refundable, non-transferable and non-exchangeable;

  1. The random draw will take place at Chaussures Bo-Pied inc. offices, located at 2626 Papineau, Longueuil, on October 2, 2023 (EST). One (1) entry will be drawn at the end of the contest, from all entries received in accordance with section 3, to award the prize described above.
  2. There is a limit of one prize per person per residence. The odds of an entrant's entry being randomly selected depend on the number of entries received in accordance with these rules.

PRICE CLAIM

  1. In order to be declared a winner, any person selected must:
  2. a) be of legal age in your province of residence (i.e. 18 years of age or older if you are a resident of the province of Quebec);
  3. b) confirm acceptance of these regulations; and
  4. c) confirm compliance with these regulations; and
  5. d) comply with all conditions applicable to the prize and these rules.

Failure to comply with any of the conditions mentioned in the above paragraph or any other condition provided for in these rules will result in the person's selection being nullified and he or she will not be eligible to win the prize.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Non-compliant entries. The contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify any person or to cancel one or more entries of any person participating in this contest or attempting to participate by a means contrary to these rules or likely to be unfair to other participants (e.g. use of ballots obtained from unauthorized sources, entries exceeding the permitted limit, etc.). This person may be referred to the appropriate legal authorities.
  2. Acceptance of prize. All prizes must be accepted as described in these rules and cannot be transferred to another person, substituted for another prize or exchanged in whole or in part for cash, except as provided in the paragraph below.
  3. Prize substitution. In the event that, for reasons unrelated to the winners, the Contest Organizers are unable to award a prize (or portion thereof) as described in these Contest Rules, they reserve the right to award a prize (or portion thereof) of the same nature and equivalent value or, at their sole discretion, the cash value of the prize (or portion thereof) indicated in these Contest Rules.
  4. Refusal to accept a prize. The refusal of a randomly selected person to accept a prize under the terms and conditions of these Contest Rules releases the Contest Organizers from any obligation related to this prize towards this person.
  5. Limitation of liability - use of prize. All selected entrants release Chaussures Bo-Pied inc, their affiliated and related companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, agents and representatives from any and all liability for any damages they may suffer as a result of accepting or using their prize.
  6. Responsibility of suppliers. Any person selected for a prize acknowledges that upon confirmation of winning the prize (by letter or otherwise), the performance of services related to the prize becomes the sole and exclusive responsibility of the prize or service provider. A statement to this effect will be included in the Declaration Form.

Limitation of liability - operation of the contest. Chaussures Bo-Pied inc, their affiliated and related companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, agents and representatives disclaim all liability for any malfunction of any computer component, software or communication line, for any transmission that is faulty, incomplete, incomprehensible or erased by any computer or any network, including telephone, and that may limit the possibility or prevent any person from participating in the contest. Chaussures Bo-Pied inc, their affiliated and related companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, agents and representatives also disclaim all liability for any damage or loss that may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the downloading of any Internet page, software or form and by the transmission of any information related to participation in the contest.

  1. Modification. The contest organizers reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this contest in whole or in part in the event of an event, error or human intervention that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or conduct of the contest as provided in these rules, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec, if required. In all cases, the contest organizers, their affiliated and related companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, suppliers of products or services related to this contest, as well as their employees, agents and representatives, may not be required to award more prizes than those indicated in these rules or to award prizes otherwise than in accordance with these rules.
  2. Inability to act - labor dispute. Chaussures Bo-Pied inc, their affiliated and related companies, their advertising and promotional agencies, their employees, agents and representatives will not assume any liability whatsoever in any case where their inability to act results from a fact or situation beyond their control or from a strike, lockout or any other labour dispute in their establishment or in the establishments of the organizations or companies whose services are used to hold this contest.
  3. Limitation of liability - participation. By participating or attempting to participate in this contest, all persons release the contest organizers, their affiliated and related companies, their advertising and/or promotional agencies, their employees, agents and representatives from all liability for any damages they may incur as a result of their participation or attempt to participate in the contest.
  4. Authorization. By entering this contest, the winner authorizes the contest organizers, their partners and representatives to use, if required, the winner's first and last name, photograph, image, statement regarding the prize, place of residence and/or voice without any form of compensation, at their discretion and without limit as to the period of use, in any media and worldwide, for advertising or any other purpose deemed relevant.
  5. Communication with entrants. No communication or correspondence will be exchanged with participants in this contest except with those selected for a prize.
  6. Decisions of contest organizers. Any decision by the Contest Organizers or their representatives regarding this Contest is final and without appeal, subject to any decision by the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec regarding any matter under its jurisdiction.
  7. Disputes. Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.
  8. Precedence. If any section of these rules is declared or found to be illegal, unenforceable or invalid by any competent authority, then that section shall be deemed invalid and unwritten, but all other sections shall remain unaffected and shall be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  9. Copy of contest rules. Contest rules are available upon request from Chaussures Bo-Pied inc.
