Composition and materials

Upper: Birko-Flor® Nubuck
Birko-Flor® Nubuck offers a look and feel very similar to genuine nubuck, with a soft, velvety surface.

Insole: natural leather
Natural leather can be recognized by its untreated surface. Birkenstock deliberately leaves the grain and characteristics of the leather visible. The upper is made of sturdy leather with a thickness of 2.8 to 3.2 mm.

Anatomical sole: cork
Cork is a sustainable material derived from the bark of the cork oak tree. Naturally insulating, it provides excellent cushioning and lasting comfort.

Outsole: EVA
EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) is a lightweight, highly flexible, and durable material that provides excellent cushioning. It absorbs the impact of uneven ground for a smooth stride.
